Outdoor courts draw two complaints: light spilling into neighbouring homes, and floors bright enough while hoop zones stay black — shooting on guesswork.
Amateur training 300 lx (JGJ153-2016 outdoor); 6-8 m poles 3 m beyond sidelines aiming away from residences; hoop-zone vertical illuminance keeps ≥60% of horizontal, with asymmetric cutoff optics.
Our polarised narrow-beam projectors form a light fence — over 90% attenuation at residential facades — and environmental complaints have stopped entirely.
